Master Baron has been training in martial arts for over 33 years.  He started training in Karate in 1973.  Between 1973 and 1983, he  entered numerous competitions such as the Operington Open, Welsh Open, Birmingham Open and several others.  Master Baron took 1st place on many occasions. 

Master Baron joined Shaolin Nam-Pai Chuan (Kung Fu) in 1983.   As a 1st Degree Black Belt, he took the responsibility of promoting this system,  began teaching his classes and gained his Coaching Certificate via the Martial Arts Commission.   In 1986, Master Baron decided to put together a squad for demonstrations and competitions.  He traveled with his team  over England winning many medals and trophies.  Some of Master Baron's students won the Hammersmith Open, Kings Lynn Open, Manchester Open and many other inter-club tournaments.

After obtaining his 3rd Degree in Kung Fu in September 1991, Master Baron was appointed to the Board of Examiners.  He was also in charge of organising tournaments,  taught at seminars in London and in other countries such as Italy France and Greece.

As a 4th Degree Black Belt, Master Baron attained his  National Vocational Qualification in Martial Arts and began taking on many responsibilities for promoting Nam-Pai Chuan including overseeing student safety.       Page 2
